With just 50 places available, this is designed to be a small, relaxed comedy night rather than a large-scale comedy club. If you’re planning to join us, we recommend securing your ticket and table as early as possible.

The evening begins at 6:30pm at Kerala Canteen.
6:30pm–7:30pm — Dinner & Drinks
Arrive from 6:30pm, settle into your reserved table and enjoy your welcome Prosecco, Kerala tapas, curry and side.
It’s a chance to relax, catch up with friends and get ready for the evening ahead.
7:30pm–9:30pm — Live Stand-Up Comedy
From approximately 7:30pm, the restaurant turns into an intimate comedy venue for two hours of live stand-up comedy, including an interval.
And because Canteen Comedy Curry Night guests receive 20% off bar drinks, you can keep the evening going with cocktails, beers, wine or mocktails during the interval.

Canteen Comedy Curry Night has been created for anyone looking for things to do in Leeds on a Wednesday evening — whether you’re planning a date night, a night out with friends, a birthday celebration, a work social or simply want an excuse to enjoy curry and comedy.
You’ll have your own reserved table rather than traditional theatre-style seating, with dinner forming part of the experience.
Once the food is finished, the restaurant becomes an intimate comedy venue, bringing the comedians closer to the audience and creating a more relaxed atmosphere.
Only 50 Tickets for the September Comedy Night
We’re intentionally keeping our first Canteen Comedy Curry Night small.
There are only 50 places available.
That means we’re not trying to squeeze hundreds of people into the restaurant. Instead, we want the comedians to be close to the audience and the atmosphere to feel personal, relaxed and intimate.
The trade-off is simple: once those 50 places are sold, the September event is sold out.
If you already know you’d like to come, don’t leave it until the week of the event.

A normal restaurant reservation does not provide entry to Comedy Curry Night.
Every guest attending the event must have a valid event ticket. Tickets will be checked on the night, so please make sure that the number of tickets purchased matches the number of people on your restaurant reservation.
For normal restaurant bookings, Kerala Canteen’s online booking system currently accepts reservations for up to 10 people. Groups larger than 10 should contact the restaurant directly.
