However, the "poppadoms" at £4-50 for a small bowl of what I can only describe as coloured crisps, curls and frazzles with 2 dips, was disappointing. The main course of beef brisket biryani (£15-50) was very tasty and I liked the fragrant mint leaves. Chapatis with cheese on top although small, were also good. Surprisingly, the majority of staff out front were European, so would have been nice to see some authentic Kerala cooking staff out there.
